BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS

The windmill was at the heart of the Upminster business community from when it was built in 1803 until milling ceased in the 1930s.

We are working to reconnect the windmill with 21st century businesses, and have a range of opportunities for organisations large and small to work with us to create value for their own brand, engage with their staff and give back to the community.

VeNUE HIRE

Our visitor centre can accommodate board-room style groups of around 12-16, and the historic setting of the windmill provides a novel location for groups of up to 30.

A meeting or event can include a private tour of the windmill; we can provide light refreshments and can recommend local caterers for business breakfasts or lunches.

CORPORATE VOLUNTEERING

We can structure volunteering days to support small or large groups to get together, develop practical and teamworking skills, and give back to the community. We have a wide range of opportunities covering everything from practical maintenance work and gardening through to supporting educational workshops.

SPONSORSHIP AND SUPPORT

The Friends maintain the windmill for the benefit of the community.

We are growing creative, mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses and in return for your support can recognise and promote your business to our wide reach of visitors, both in person and on-line.

Opportunities to support include provision of equipment, materials or services for site maintenance, technology or governance, or support for a specific event or project of your choice.
